Summary | 0000102: Mega 7 gui mac crashes on Max Likelihood phylogeny |
Description | I have been trying to perform a maximum likelihood phylogeny on about 200 protein sequences with a bootstrap value of 200. I used to do this without problem with Mega 6 on an older iMac running Yosemite, now I am using a new iMac with el capitan. Started running it last night and after the screen saver came on it froze the iMac. Started it this morning again on the same data and it ran fine for about 10 minutes and then the application apparently quit on its own, no crash report. |
Steps To Reproduce | iI used 200 protein sequences that were aligned with cluster and then simply used them to performed a mx likelihood. Each protein ranged between 500 and 700 residues |
