Summary | 0000122: Switching between nt and aa view shifts selected sequence by 2 nt |
Description | Hello,
I've noticed that MEGA6 (version 6.06, 6140226) is doing something odd that I did not notice in MEGA5. If a number of amino acids are highlighted in the alignment explorer window, and then the user switches to the DNA tab, an incorrect set of nucleotides are highlighted (they are shifted 2 nt to the right of what would be expected). This has the potential to cause mistakes when working with data, especially for MEGA5 users who are used to being able to keep track of a highlighted sequence easily between tabs. Please let me know if there is an easy way to work around this. |
