| Summary | 0001759: Too many evolutionary paths "don't ask again" checkbox does not do anything on MEGAX |
| Description | When calculating a tree using max-parsimony (haven't tested other methods), I run into the "the current site has too many evolutionary paths" window quite a bit. I uncheck the box "ask again", yet nothing happens. I still get asked what to do on the next site that this happens. This was an issue in MEGA7 and it still remains an issue with the latest update (now off of beta). My SNP sites usually have many evolutionary paths. I set the limit to 5x10^7 paths before I get prompted. I still get prompted regularly. Unless I am constantly vigilant, this is adding many times over 0000090:0000030 seconds of downtime.

| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Turn on mega MEGAX 10.1.7 GUY on MacOS 10.14 on Analyze mode.
2. Construct/test MP using eukaryotic genomic SNP fasta.
3. Wait until a site with too many evolutionary paths goes over NUM_PATHS_BEFORE_PROMP and a subsequent prompt window pops up.
4. Untick "ask again" checkbox.
5. Click "Go to the next site".

6 The Prompt appears again. |
