| Summary | 0000188: Message that MEGA encountered an error |
| Description | We are working on phage and bacterial protein sequences (average length 1619 aa). We wanted to determine the best model for 108 protein sequences and used the feature on MEGA-7. The program ran and then encountered a problem after a few hours of running the program (see attached snapshot). We have run 0000247:0000233 protein sequences(190 aa long) with no problems. The calculation was run on a Mac system running El Captan with 16GB RAM and I TB hard disk space. I am now trying the MEGA-CC version on the same MAC system. |
