| Summary | 0000213: Condensed tree option for bootstrap consensus tree can carry over to the original tree. |
| Description | If you are on the Bootstrap Consensus Tree which is condensed and go to Option under the View menu and click OK, when you go back to the Original Tree tab it will also be condensed and if you uncondense the tree it will still be in "Display Only Topology" mode even if neither option was selected for the Original Tree tab before. |
| Steps To Reproduce | 1) Have a tree open where bootstrapping was done.
2) Make sure that in the Original Tree tab the tree is not condensed already and also "Display Only Topology" is not enabled.
3) Go to the Bootstrap Consensus Tree tab, if the tree isn't already condensed (for at least me, going straight to the consensus tree from a newly made file has that tree condensed) do so.
3) With the bootstrap consensus tree condensed, open up the Options from under the View menu and click OK without doing anything else. Doing this should actually display the original tree while still in the Bootstrap Consensus Tree tab and causing the tree to redraw will fix this.
4) Go back to the Original Tree tab. It should look like if "Display Only Topology" is enabled but actually it is condensed except since the standard cut-off setting is 0% no branches will be condensed.
5) If you uncondense the tree then it will be noticeable that "Display Only Topology" is enabled. |
