Summary0000241: Deleting Protein Sequences
DescriptionHi,

I'm trying to remove non-functional sequences that have STOP codons early on in the translated protein alignment - however, MEGA 7 does not allow this - I have to continuously switch between nucleotide and protein translations to detect and delete these sequences.

It would be fantastic to allow users to edit protein sequences in more than just adding or removing gaps.

Thanks,
Robbyn

This comes from the limit for taxon label. Currently, I just pick up first two words from DEFINITION field. I will make it smarter using other field information.
