Summary0000320: Using multiple cores
DescriptionHello,

I am wondering if there is a trick or config setting somewhere where i can use more than 10 cores. Im running megacc on a centos server.

I can't seem to run megacc with any more than 10 cores. I do have more available and not in use.

Any feedback or help is appreciated.

Hi Brian,

The only place to set the number of cores to use for megacc would be with the prototyper (or the .mao file) and only for ML based analyses. If you have specified more than 10 threads and megacc is not using them it is probably because each round of branch swapping in the ML search completes before more than 10 threads could be launched.
