Description | Report bugs or other issues regarding the MEGA software
(1) your name and email address: William McManus, William.mcmanus@nih.gov
(2) the version of MEGA you are working with: MEGA 7.0
(3) the version of Windows you are working in: Windows 7
(5) a description of the problem: The “Reading input data file” window opens and the progress bar goes to 100%, then an error message box with “Range check error” pops up. When I close this window or select “OK”, I am back to the blank MEGA home screen.

Steps To Reproduce | (6) the sequence of events that led to that problem [this often is crucial to understanding and remedying the problem quickly.]: The only change in my computer was a system update of some kind, other than that I was using MEGA as normal. |
Additional Information | I use this software very frequently, and yesterday was the first time I saw this problem, so I wondered if it might have been an issue with the system update that went through yesterday morning. |
