Description | Report bugs or other issues regarding the MEGA software When I create a phylogenetic tree using the attached file, the software crashes in the middle of creation.(Neighbor-Joining tree) | ||||||||||||
Steps To Reproduce | 1.Open the attached aligned file in MEGA11 (protein sequence) 2.Select "Construct/Test Neighbor-Jointing Tree" 3. configure as follows Test of phylogeny → Bootstrap method No. of Bootstrap Replications → 100 Model/Method → Poisson model Rates among sites → Uniform Rates Gaps/Missing Data Treatment → Pairwise deletion Number of Threads → 7 4. Hi Martin, I am writing in response to the bug report you recently submitted regarding the MEGA software. The rule that MEGA is using when exporting the alignment is to not split codons. So if you have coding data, the number of sites on a given line should always be a multiple of 3. Hope this helps. Best regards, Glen Stecher Application Programmer |
