Summary0000583: how to select two outgroup species
DescriptionHello:

When I ran Mega7 to generate a time tree on my computer, I got the error "The current analysis cannot be completed because Mega is not able to allocate sufficient memory from the system". Now I am trying to use megacc. In the tutorial it describes how to set a outgroup species ‘gibbon=outgroup', I wonder how to select two species as outgroup species?

Thanks

Best

Dear Peter,
This bug is fixed for MEGA 4 beta version. You can download the MEGA4 beta release at http://www.megasoftware.net/mega4. [^]
Thanks!

Hi Quan,

I am writing in response to your question regarding the MEGA software. To specify an outgroup with multiple taxa, put each taxon on a separate line. For example:

species1=outgroup

species2=outgroup

species3=outgroup
