Summary0000708: Question
DescriptionDear Sir,

I annotate my DNA sequence in MEGA using "select genes and domain" option which annotate all sequences in the data file. I would like to annotate each sequence alone because the annotation that I'm looking for differ between sequences. Is it available in MEGA?

Thanks in advance
Haneen

Hi Haneen,

I am writing in response to your recent question regarding the MEGA software. No, it is not possible to define distinct genes/domains for different sequences in an alignment in MEGA.
