| Summary | 0000800: from AWS Ubuntu command line, unclear how to generate png file from Newick tree |
| Description | Can't get Mega command line versions 7 or X (using AWS Ubuntu via ssh) to read a phylip-generated Newick file and save tree as a png file. Can't find instructions that work via Google or in Mega Help or online tutorial. Also tried creating mao file in Mega7 in Windows -- did not work (proto program not included with Mega7). Tutorial (https://www.megasoftware.net/pdfs/MEGA7-CC-Quick-Start-Tutorial.pdf [^]) does not work (No proto app with Mega7)! Can you recommend a contact person who can help? |
