| Summary | 0000857: Model Testing Seems to Freeze |
| Description | Issue using "Find Best DNA/Protein Models":
I try to find the best fit model for my data set, but MEGA always seems to freeze or get stuck in analysis toward the end (as indicated by the progress bar). At the start of the run, it makes good progress, but toward the end of the run, it's like it is stuck or freezes. I've left it to run for a long period of time, and still there is no result. Has anyone else reported this issue? |
| Steps To Reproduce | Load aligned data set
Click on "Models" --> Click on "Find Best DNA/Protein Models (ML)"
Leave model parameters at default --> click OK
-The program will make good progress in the beginning, but then comes to a screeching halt and the progress bar stops moving. |
