Summary | 0000894: "Unable to find command terminator ""(in line [x]) |
Description | I cannot open an alignment in Mega because I repeatedly get the error "Unable to find command terminator ""(in line [x]). I can delete the offending sequence, and the error repeats on reopening the file, but the line number changes. If I paste the text file into Word and reveal all the formatting marks, I can see nothing that differentiates the line in question. I can |
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Open FASTA file in alignment explorer. Align sequences with Clustal or perform other manipulations.
2. Save *.mas file and export alignment as *.meg.
3. Open *.meg file for data analysis. Receive error: "Unable to find command terminator ""(in line [x])
Saving under a new file name, saving as *.fas and reimporting it, all are not effective. |
