I am giving a shot to your MEGA-CC in RHEL7. I am trying to run my command:

megacc –a model.mao -f Fasta –d short9.file.fasta –o short9.file.avedist.txt

But is giving me the error:

[leocadio@bioszoopsrv phylogenetic]$ megacc –a model.mao -f Fasta –d short9.file.fasta –o short9.file.avedist.txt MEGA-CC has logged the following error:

Steps To Reproducejust put

megacc –a model.mao -f Fasta –d short9.file.fasta –o short9.file.avedist.txt

on a folder in RHEL with model.mao, and the alignment in fasta.
Additional InformationI tried changing names, giving them the full address, specifying that it is in the same folder (./), running it with sudo... Not sure what is going on.

I see model.mao there, as well as the infile...

 Also having this issue, my MAO file is present but not detected by megacc, whether I used relative or absolute path
