| Summary | 0002361: MEGA CC does not use all threads available and set |
| Description | Hi, I am running a ML phylogeny tree using MEGA CC on an Ubuntu server with 96 threads. I have set the thread count to 96 when creating the MAO file and verified it's there in the MAO file however when I run the tree, I can only see 1 thread being used. Occasionally, it uses 6 threads but quickly returns back to 1 thread.
Is this normal functionality or a bug? Is there a maximum thread count of 6 regardless of how many I have on the machine? |
| Steps To Reproduce | Construct a HKY+G phylogeny tree using Bootstrap method and 1000 replications, with other settings at default. Using a taxa file of 1751 sequences previously aligned by MEGA. |
