| Summary | 0003305: I cannot edit or trim sequence |
| Description | I have a 64 bit (6-Core Intel Core i7 ) macbook pro with Mac OS 11.4. I have downloaded and tried both MEGA X and MEGA 11. Using the Edit/View Sequence Files (Trace) function under the align button, I can upload an .abs file or files, see the sequence and see the chromatograph, but I cannot use most of the tools and I cannot edit the sequence. For example, I can resize the trace horizontally, but not vertically. The vertical slider is unresponsive. I cannot select a base, nor can I mask any part of the sequence. The window is, for the most part, unresponsive. I would like to use MEGA for a class I am teaching this Spring Semester, but cannot teach how to use it if it won't work on my own computer.
