(0002405) user614 1969-12-31 17:33	Hello Frederik, I am responding to the bug report you submitted regarding a failure to open an alignment file in MEGA. I took a look at the file and found that the first 2 sequences are of different length than the rest. Because of this, when MEGA finishes reading the third sequence, it throws an error. I converted the file to Fasta format, aligned it and converted it back to the native MEGA format (see attached) and it opens fine. I am not sure how the .meg file was created with sequences of unequal length, but anyway it is easily fixed. Best regards, Glen Stecher
