Using Mega7:

"Expecting sequence' .....,' but found . (in line 67)'

I could not find anything wrong with the sequence. There is no '.'

Hi Melanie,

The error occurs because the sequence name 'JN906022_Rhizoscyphus_ericae' is used twice so MEGA tries to parse the file as interleaved. You can solve the issue by giving each sequence a unique name.
