Summary0000118: Amino acid color code
DescriptionI am writing to ask why some of the same amino acids are represented in different colors. I've specifically noticed that serine shows up as green and yellow. Is there a reason for this and a code to understand why the same amino acid shows up as a variable color? I could not find anything except the standard color code in the manual.

Thank you,
Nicole

Hi Nicole,

I am writing in response to your question regarding amino acid color codes in MEGA. I cannot duplicate the issue that you describe. Can you send me a screen shot that shows it?

Interestingly, when I updated to MEGA 7, I do not see the same issue.

Thank you for your time,
