Description | Report bugs or other issues regarding the MEGA software Hi - I am trying to save data on the number of variable sites in different domains and populations in my data set. After I select "V" for my data, then I click Statistics->Display, I don't get anything, nothing appears. This happens for CSV, text, and Excel. Is there any way to save this data instead of scrolling through the window across the domain? Thanks alot ! Scott
Steps To Reproduce | Select V for variable sites Select Statistics->Display, any option I am using MacOsX Mojave 10.14.6. It actually works quite well otherwise, with a nice interface.

Hi Scott, I am writing in response to your question regarding the MEGA software. I think you can achieve what you want by doing the following: Open the Genes/Domains dialog and un-select all except for 1 domain of interest. Click OK. In the Sequence Data Explorer, click the V button again to highlight variable sites. In the status bar at the bottom of the Sequence Data Explorer, the number of variable sites for the active domain will be shown. Hopefully this helps. -- Best regards, Glen Stecher Institute for Genomics and Evolutionary Medicine igem.temple.edu |
