 Hello Mr.McLaughlin,

I looked over the file you sent me and there were a number of things missing.
1. There must be a # before the name of a sequence
2. Sequence names can’t have spaces (use _ instead)
3. There must be a ! before the word title and a ; at the end of the line.
4. There is no ‘end’ at the end of a MEGA file.

If you don’t mind can I ask how you converted this ClustalW file to MEG format? Was it with MEGA’s converter?
