| Summary | 0002138: Reltime Branch Length |
| Description | When running the Reltime Branch Length analysis in Mac (OS X 10.15), MEGA crashes. I downloaded the most recent version for MAC from the MEGA website and the problem persists. When trying the same analysis in Windows, it worked. |
| Steps To Reproduce | Clocks -> Compute Timetree -> RelTime Branch Lengths -> Load Tree File (see attached file named 'Imm_D.nwk') -> Specify Outgroup (base of 'd' clade; the three taxa with 'g' are the outgroup) -> Specify Calibration (taxon A: d9; taxon B: d7; normal distribution; mean: 4.973, Std Dev: 0.20. The analysis also crashes even skipping the callibration step) -> Max Rate Ratio: 20 -> Launch Analysis -> The program crashes and closes automatically. |
| Additional Information | I have tried changing many parameters in Calibrations and Max Rates, but the software always crashes.
Using the same parameters in Windows, the analysis worked well.
