Hi Clarisa, I am writing in response to your question regarding the MEGA software. You should use the original tree with bootstrap as it is the tree that best fits your data. The bootstrap consensus tree is useful as a test of reliability and can be used to show strength of support for any inference you are trying to make. -- Best regards, Glen Stecher |
