| Summary | 0000289: Addin FASTA sequences causes crash |
| Description | Since the removal GI numbers from the BLAST sequences, MEGA crashes when trying to add selected FASTA sequences to an alignment. Switching the format to "old format" recovers the GI numbers but MEGA still crashes. |

BLAST Query Sequence
Select Hits and display as FASTA
"Add to alginment">>>>>>CRASH |
| Additional Information | Even switching the format to the old format which includes GI numbers causes the crash. Has happened on three computers at two different locations. |
