Summary | 0003449: Session files generated in Windows cannot be read in Linux |
Description | I have several MEGA alignment session (.mas) files generated by MEGA v.11 in the 64-bit Windows 10 system (please find one such file attached). When I try to open these files in MEGA-GUI v.11.0.8 in the 64-bit Linux (Ubuntu 16.04) system, I get the following message:
"Incompatible session file. The file was generated by a Windows 64-bit system but this is a Linux 64-bit system".
The error is the same whenever I try to open the .mas file to analyze or to align.
