| Summary | 0003466: Cannot edit alignments |
| Description | With recent versions of macOS (Big Sur, Monterey), one cannot edit a DNA sequence alignment. Clicking on a column header does nothing. Selecting individual bases and clicking the "cut" button does nothing. |
| Steps To Reproduce | On a Mac running Big Sur or Monterey
open a multifasta file and align it with either muscle of clustalW
Try to edit the alignment (remove positions, bases...)
Clicking on a column header does nothing. Selecting bases and clicking the "cut" button does nothing.
This was tested on different Macs with Mega X and Mega 11. |
