DescriptionHow to concatenate several gene sequences for phylogenetic analysis? namely, to construct a concatenated phylogenetic tree using Mega? Someone said it has this function, unfortunately, I can not find where to do it.

Hi Tangjian,

I am writing in response to your question regarding the MEGA software. To concatenate sequences, you will have to do it manually. It can either be done in a text editor or in MEGA's Alignment Explorer using the editing tools. Alternatively, you could write a script to do it.
