DescriptionHow do I export selected sequences in mega. For example, I have an alignment of 300 sequences and I just want to export the first 10 sequences

Linwei: Please tell him that MEGA does not use outgroups for any computations. If you he/she wishes to root the tree on a specific branch, then they should use the \"root\" tool in the TreeExplorer. SK

Hi Abbot,

I am writing in response to your question regarding the MEGA software. To export a subset of sequences from an alignment, you should use the Sequence Data Explorer window in MEGA.
