| Description | Dear Mega,
I am using MEGA 7.0.26 (7170509-x86_64) and I am encountering a memory problem. I am trying to align a large set of sequences (5000) using the muscle align option, with all settings on default. My computer has 32 gb of RAM (of which 20-25 gb is available) however when I run the alignment I get a insufficient RAM memory error when the program takes up more then 2 gb of memory. Is there any way around this problem, or am I trying to align to large number of sequences?
