Description

Report bugs or other issues regarding the MEGA software
In the Danish High School system, the use of sequence data in the national graduation test has been used for several years. One of the tests is a (constructed) sequence as shown in 'Steps To Reproduce'.
The distance matrix for MEGA 7 and MEGA 10 is the same. Calculating the UPGMA tree by hand showing the length of the branches by number of differences the calculation and the length of the branches maches results produced in MEGA 7. In MEGA 10 the calculation connecting the two subtrees does not distribute the branch length on the two branches but all the difference on one of the branches and a length of 0 on the other branch. This must be an error in the MEGA 10 program calculating UPGMA.

Steps To Reproduce

Save the sequences as a fasta file. Load it into MEGA 7 and MEGA X. Analyze the data. Construct/test a UPGMA tree. Compare the differences.
