Summary0000206: Help with SSr file to UPGMA
DescriptionGood Afternoon,

I hope you could help me. I am a Msc Plant Breeding student, and i am doing my final Tesis.
I have to do an UPGMA with the DARwin program, and i have an excell file with SSr with my plant varieties, this way:

            SSr 1 SSr2
Plant 123 133
  1 132 133

So, I supose i have to transform my file to a matrix but i dont know exactly if in an binary one or in a Nei & Li (Dice).
Thank you !!!

Hi Beatriz,

I am writing in response to the question you recently posted to the MEGA bug tracker. In order to work with MEGA to generate a UPGMA tree, your data will need to be in either a multiple sequence alignment file or a MEGA formatted distance matrix. You can see examples of the file formats by looking at the example files that come with MEGA.
