Summary0000309: Invalid base?
DescriptionTrying to open a file/session with nucleotide data.
The file says "error in line 5: invalid base P"
Other files of the same type have no problem opening in MEGA, they all have P as a base in them.
Only 2 of the 8 files (varying sample sizes) have this problem.

Hi Nicholas,

I am writing in response to the bug report you recently submitted regarding the MEGA software. Could you send me one of the files that leads to the error message in MEGA so that I could have a look?

There's no need. When I had written the code to sort my data files I swapped the names of two files without realizing it so the files were mislabeled. User error. After realizing that, and using the right datafile it worked.

Thanks for responding, Glen.
