Could you be more specific in how exactly MEGA crashes when building an alignment on your Mac? MEGA is a giant program, and trying to find an error without a detailed description isn’t usually successful. Did MEGA crash when you were retrieving sequences from a webpage, aligning sequences (if so which method), how many sequences, etc. Most importantly what happened immediately preceding the crash?
