Summary0000447: cancer phylogeny
DescriptionI am using mega to build a cancer evolution tree.

I wonder if I can combine all the mutations we called as a new sort sequence, than infer phylogenetic trees, cause the human genome is large, and we only need the inforamation of thousands of mutations.

Thanks

This problem is well known to us. Essentially the WINE implementation of the portions of the windows media api are incomplete and/or buggy. We should probably replace the AVI with a GIF when possible.

Hi Cathy,

I am writing in response to your question regarding the MEGA software. Yes, you can use MEGA to construct a phylogeny without using the entire human genome, provided that you have assembled your mutation data into a valid sequence alignment.
