| Description | Hi,
I am trying to reproduce the "Testing for Selection" example in online manual under "A Walk Through Mega". I used the HLA-3Seq.meg file as suggested and entered all parameters as instructed, but I did not obtain a significant p value- in fact, I obtained Prob = 1.000 and Stat = -0.101.
The tutorial says: "The difference in synonymous and non-synonymous substitutions should be significant at the 5% level". Please find attached a screenshot of the input parameters I used for the selection test.
Any tips would be much appreciated- I'm very much looking forward to using MEGA for my analysis but want to ensure that I'm reproducing a simple example correctly. Thank you very much for your help!
