Summary | 0000841: Ancestral Sequences Truncated
Description | Hello, I recently performed a protein phylogenetic analysis MEGA X (Win); the resulting tree contained approx 3500 nodes. The exported ancestral sequences were truncated in the .txt/.csv/.xlsx formats. e.g. 4 lines of '- - - ', three lines of '- - X - Y - Z - -', and three lines of '- - -'. s the truncation due to the number of nodes in the file (~3500 nodes) and the size of the file? Is there a workaround to obtain the sequences of specific nodes? Thank you, Tim

Hi Timothy, I am writing in response to the bug report you recently submitted regarding the MEGA software. Sorry for the late response. I am not able to duplicate the error you described where exported ancestral sequences were truncated. Could you send me the data file that was used along with a screenshot of the settings used so I can duplicate the issue? Also, can you send me the exported result so I can see exactly what it looks like? Thanks. -- Best regards, Glen Stecher Institute for Genomics and Evolutionary Medicine igem.temple.edu |
